MELBOURNE SIGHTS

Enjoying spring sunshine and extremely blue skies in Melbourne.  We were lucky that the weather held up for us throughout the week, except for one day when the temperature dipped to 8 degrees C.  Unthinkable for me who is used to 30+ degrees weather in Singapore.

Almost every night, Charina and I would make a pact to get up at 7AM.  I don't know why we bother.  One morning, I startled awake by the roar of our electric kettle and realised Charina was already out of bed.  I also realised it was past 8AM!

Another day, Charina came out of her bedroom close to 9AM.  I was in the living room watching the food channel on mute.  She started to apologise but I pointed out that this what free-and-easy is really about.  At this point, I switched the kettle on so we each enjoyed a cup of kopi before heading out.

Somewhere it Fitzroy, I think.

Missed our tram stop by several stops.

Chester showed me bits of the city. We watched the sunset on the Yarra River.  He even showed me his
2-bedroom apartment.  I think he is lucky to be living in Melbourne.  It makes me happy to know that he is doing well.
